How Customised Engagements Work

The Format Follows the Need.
Not the Other Way Around.

A customised engagement is not a standard workshop with the firm’s name added to the slide deck. It is a session or series designed from the ground up based on what the strategy conversation identifies. The format, duration, content, and sequence are all determined by your firm’s specific context.

Step 1

Needs-Analysis Conversation

A direct conversation with firm leadership or the HR lead. PMRI identifies the specific performance challenge, the team composition, the firm’s operating context, and what outcome the engagement needs to produce.

Step 2

Engagement Design

PMRI designs the session or series: content, format, duration, sequence, and materials. All content is drawn from the PMRI neuroscience framework and calibrated to the specific challenges identified in the conversation.

Step 3

Delivery

In-person at your offices or online. Both co-founders present at all live sessions. Materials prepared specifically for the engagement, included in the rate.

Step 4

Review

For structured series, PMRI conducts a post-engagement review to assess whether the engagement achieved its objectives and whether follow-up would produce additional value.

What Makes This Different

No Content Is Designed
Before PMRI Understands Your Firm

Generic training packages are assembled from pre-existing content and relabelled for the client. Customised training at PMRI is designed after the strategy conversation, using the PMRI neuroscience framework as the foundation and the firm’s specific context as the design brief.

Established Workshops Are Also Available

PMRI’s six established workshops are available as standalone sessions without customisation. If one maps directly to your firm’s need, the established format is the most efficient starting point.

Customised is right when none of the six precisely fits, when you need a combination of topics, or when the context is specific enough that a standard session would miss the mark.

Who This Is For

Any Firm With a Specific
Training Need

Firms With Specific Challenges

Where a particular team or cohort has a performance challenge the standard catalogue does not precisely address.

Firms Building a Training Series

Who want a structured programme across a quarter or half-year, addressing multiple topics in a coherent sequence.

Firms With Specific Cohorts

Where the audience is sufficiently specific — seniority level, practice area, team composition — that standard content would miss the mark.

Firms Testing an Approach

Who want to run a pilot with one team before committing to a broader programme.

Next Step

The starting point is a strategy conversation.

No proposal is sent without first understanding your firm’s specific context.
